Mickey Auction

Now on My Auction Barn! This is "Mickey", a custom on the new Breyer Shannondell. Mickey is a simple custom with just a few resculpting fix-ups along molding lines, especially around his tail head, forelock and in between his nostrils. His shoes were also touched up and re-carved to ensure they are all even and level. Mickey won this year's Breyerfest Best Customs Contest for Workmanship. His ribbons stay with me, but don't worry, he can still show at Breyerfest Live for a shot at more!

Mickey has been painted in a deep red bay with a mega-flashy sabino roan pattern. He was painted with hundreds of thousands of individually placed hairs and tiny spots in many layers and colors to create a realistic depth and texture to his coat. Mickey's pattern was inspired by the Clydesdale Samarah Park Regalia, and also the colorful Clydesdales of Disneyland. His name hints at the hidden Mickeys found throughout his pattern. There are three, can you find them all?

Mickey's mane and tail are heavily bleached as this pattern's hair often is, and his white feathers are subtly shaded with many creams and greys for added depth. He is finished off with all the details my work is known for including detailed eyes, textured chestnuts, hooves with growth rings, and nail heads and clinches for the shoes.

Shipping is $25 including insurance in the US. International shipping will be actual price and quoted at the time of the auction ending. Sorry, I will not put a lower value on the package or mark as gift for international shipments.

Time payments are welcome! Payments are offered with a 10% deposit, with the remaining payments to be evenly spread in monthly installments of up to 6 months. I am happy to work with you on scheduling if you require a slightly different arrangement. Please inquire before bidding to work out any details outside of these terms, thank you!
